Our Leathers
What type of leather do you sell?
We primarily stock genuine cowhide leather, including chrome tanned leathers suitable for small leather goods and crafting projects.
Are your leathers real leather?
Yes, all of our leathers are genuine leather. We do not sell bonded leather or faux leather.
Where do your leathers come from?
We work with LWG-certified European tanneries alongside trusted UK suppliers. Some of our limited edition leathers are sourced as deadstock to help reduce waste.
What is deadstock leather?
Headstock leather refers to surplus leather left over from production runs. It is still high-quality leather, simply available in limited quantities.
Are leather scraps good quality?
Yes. Leather scraps are offcuts from larger hides and are the same quality as full panels - just in smaller, mixed shapes.
Sizes & Thickness
What sizes do you offer?
We offer leather in a range of sizes, including scrap bags and cut panels such as A6, A5, A4 and A3, depending on the article.
How thick is the leather?
Thickness varies by article and is always listed in the product description. Most of our leathers are suitable for small projects and beginner use.
Can I choose specific colours in scrap bags?
Scrap bags are sold as mixed selections unless stated otherwise. Each bundle is unique.
Shipping
How long will my order take to dispatch?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days, unless otherwise stated on the product listing.
Do you ship internationally?
At present, we ship within the UK. If you’re based elsewhere and would like to enquire, please contact us.
Will my order be tracked?
All orders are sent using Royal Mail 2nd Class, but we do have upgrade options which you can purchase a tracked option if you wanted follow your parcel once dispatched.
Returns & Issues
Do you accept returns?
Due to the nature of leather being a natural material, we’re unable to accept returns on cut leather unless the item is faulty.
What do you consider a fault?
Leather is a natural material and, as such, each piece is unique.
Natural characteristics such as:
- surface marks
- grain variation
- small scars or wrinkles
- colour variation
- number stamps or branding marks
are all part of genuine leather and are not considered faults.
We always do our best to avoid these where possible when cutting panels and preparing orders, however they cannot always be removed entirely - especially when working with natural hides and smaller cut sizes.
A leather item would only be considered faulty if there is significant damage that affects its usability, such as:
- large tears or splits
- deep cuts or slashes
- holes that compromise the leather structure
If you believe your order has arrived with a genuine fault, please contact us as soon as possible with clear photographs and we’ll review the issue promptly.
What if there’s a problem with my order?
If something isn’t quite right, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll always do our best to resolve it.
